For this exercise I had to gather a range of transparent and semi-transparent vessels-glasses, jars and bottles and arange them in a still-life display and look for the colours.

I then had to paint out a series of stripes designs based on these colours and proportions of colour I could see.

I used watercolours as I like the transparency they create.

I really like the translucency of the colours and how some colours bleed in to each other creating different tones.

Some of the tones on my stripes might vary to the ones on the photograph but that is because the lighting in the room is different to the one on the picture.

I really like the suttle colours, they make a difference to the loud and bright colours I usually use.

The. Proportions of colour in my stripes do not match my photo but they where the proportions that I was seeing from where I was sitting.
